Bean and Sausage Soup
MMMMM! Look at what I made today! Of course, Ms. Slow Cooker (me), used the slow cooker and it is awesome! The whole crock pot is empty! I just kind of made up the recipe:
1 lb. Andouille Sausage
package of mixed beans
1 28oz can of italian style tomatoes, I used whole
1/2 onion, chopped
squared new potatoes
salt, pepper, garlic to taste
Soak beans overnight, drain and rinse, add to crock pot with some water, add all other ingredients and you have easy, yummy, deliciousness when you are home from work! Other than the sausage, you probably have the ingredients in your pantry! Enjoy....

Out of the Mouths of Babes
Picture it, Subway, lunchtime today. 4 year old boy standing next to his mother says, "mom, I know why everybody is looking at me." I look around and don't see anything, but to amuse him I ask why? His response? "Because I am so cute!" Nope, can't say my son has low self esteem.
